Major in Mechanical Engineering

This program provides a combined education in the basic physical sciences and fundamentals of engineering, together with areas of specialization that include design, mechanical and energy systems, materials behavior, and manufacturing processes.

Majors in Mechanical Engineering develop the ability to design, construct, and maintain diverse mechanical systems, such as consumer products, devices, vehicles, machinery, and systems of production, transportation, and energy generation.
