With 125 years of history, the School of Engineering is recognized as one of the best institutions of higher education and research in Chile and Latin America.

History

The School of Engineering has more than 125 years of history training professionals of the highest caliber, as well as social leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators in technology and science.

Mission and Vision

The School of Engineering seeks to train engineers of excellence – engineers that are innovators and entrepreneurs, that are ethical and humane, that transform realities, and that design a better country.

Infrastructure

Located on the San Joaquín Campus, UC Engineering has more than 11 buildings dedicated to academic administration, research, and instruction. The area covered by UC Engineering totals to nearly 42,500 m2.

San Agustín Foundation

Founded in 1987, the aim of this organization is to sustainably support the development of the School of Engineering.
