Two principle traits of the UC Engineering Academic Plan are its ample flexibility and the diverse educational opportunities provided to students.
The School of Engineering allows students to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and then continue with a curriculum resulting in a professional certification from another University faculty. In particular, the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Program has paths to receive professional certification as a UC medical surgeon, designer, or architect. These options mean that students can gain the skills and knowledge needed to work in diverse environments.
